It is situated at an altitude of 1516 ft. above sea-level in the Kutch district. You can reach Kalo Dungar by hiring a vehicle from Bhuj which is 75 km. away. One day trip from Bhuj to Kalo Dungar would be enough to discover the black hills around. There is one Dharamshala to stay overnight and offers basic food like rice, chapati, dal, and vegetable.

List of safety measures in Rann Utsav after covid 19
Places
All the places near Utsav will be cleaned and disinfected on a regular basis. All the tent cities are thermally scanned. The staff members will also have to be a medical checkup after every 15 days. They shall be thermally screened and sanitized before they start their duty on a daily basis and need to wear PPE kits while caring for the luggage. Information relating to the coronavirus will be provided at the medical center.
Bhuj reception Center Protocol
All the guests will be provided with tea/coffee and immunity boosters at the reception lounge as welcome drinks. The guests will also be given a safety kit which comprises sanitizer and masks at the reception center. And they will be thoroughly checked with thermal screening and other corona guidelines. Information pertaining to COVID -19 will be delivered to the medical center.
Guest Transportation
For the safety of visitors, all the common touchpoints of transportation services like handle, door, and pathway will be thoroughly sanitized. Drivers are also advised to help cleaners and tour coordinators with proper thermal screened before entering the bus.
