Gold-Silver prices have declined today after a steady rise.  If you are planning to invest in gold or buy gold for someone then you have a good chance today. gold futures fell 0.15 per cent to 49,363 per 10 grams.  Silver Price Today, on the other hand, fell 0.6 per cent to Rs 71,832 per kg.  In addition, gold touched a four-month high of Rs 49,700 per 10 grams in the last session.

 If we talk about the decline in gold prices, even today gold is trading below the record high of around Rs 7000. Gold touched its record level in August 2020.

Price of 24 carat gold – If we talk about the price of 24 carat gold, it is at the level of Rs.  In addition, Chennai has Rs 50,800 per 10 grams.  On the other hand, it is trading at Rs 50,980 in Kolkata and Rs 47,910 per 10 grams in Mumbai.

Gold position in the global market- Gold in the global market had hit a five-month high in the last trading session, but today it is also declining here.  Strong American economic data has tarnished the luster of gold.  Spot gold fell 0.1 percent to 1, 1,898.58 an ounce after hitting a five-month high of 1, 1,916.40 on Tuesday.

Tapan Patel, senior analyst (commodities) at HDFC Securities, said the strengthening of the dollar against the rupee has helped gold prices rise.  On the other hand, the spot price of gold on the New York Commodity Exchange Comex saw a strengthening.  This has also led to a surge in gold prices in the Delhi bullion market.
